Party! PARTY! PAR-TAY!

Twas the night before school started and all through the house...
JUST KIDDING
It was 3 days before school. :)

My birthday is always wonderful, and it gets better every year!
This year definitely topped them all!

My mom and Brad made me this super amazing poster.
"Don't cry because you're not me"-That's what my mom said. :)
But really...don't.
I had the BEST cake this year.
Pineapple upside-down cake is almost sinful!
My good friends Andy and Alyce Joy Huber took me out to breakfast.
It was SO MUCH FUN!!!
Thanks for exposing me to the breakfast world!
Brad gave me a great gift of self this year.
Since I hate the phone, he called up the dentist office
and set up our 6 month appointments.
So I got to go and see all my friends at the dentists office for my birthday!!
This is my friend/cousin Sara. She always cleans my teeth and makes them look beautiful!
She gave me the great news that I didn't have any cavities and that I didn't have to have fluoride. Thanks Sara!! You're the best!
In memory of Scott, my mom took me out to Panda Express for lunch.
*tear
They even gave us a coupon for a free orange chicken thing.
I'm sure it was especially for my birthday.
After a 2 1/2 hour nap......
I woke up and started the real party!
Linda came home from school and let me sneak
into her picture....for my birthday. I love this girl!
Anna came home from school and read my favorite book, Ella Enchanted.
That was probably for my birthday.
Then we had a delicious dinner of Chicken Cashew Casserole.
I even got to eat off of the special RED plate and sit on
my favorite BLUE chair and drink out of my favorite GREEN cup.

Then we had a great Family Home Evening!
After that some of the family came over. I love my family!!
Jill is such a cute girl! I love her little personality.
Someday I'll have a child that looks exactly like her.
Well...not the Omerza half.
She even helped me be pumped to blow out my candles.
Thanks for the help little Jill!
My busy grandparents even made a guest appearance!
It was great to have them there with me on my special day.
What wonderful people they are!
My grandpa always says,
"May this coming year bring you all the righteous desires of your heart."
I have such great examples to live up to!
I had such a great birthday! Thank you to everyone who made it perfect!!

On to other things...
I have officially had my drivers license for a year!
Yes...only a year. Don't judge me.
Remember that free Panda Express thing mentioned before?
Marcie joined me in collecting that delicious treat.
We had a fun time partying in the car while we
waited to pick Anna up from high school.
Ok, that's basically all for now. I know this post has been super long,
so if you made it to the end....Congrats!!
August has been a fun month. I hope September is just as good!

Pre Birthday Post

Yesterday was my birthday.
August 16th - best day of the year
I had a FABULOUS day!
More on that later...

You know that feeling you get when you finish something really good?
I'm not talking like a cookie or a good sandwich.
I mean something significant that makes you feel satisfaction and success.
Today I finished my journal.
I wrote in the very last page and signed it at the bottom.
I felt SO accomplished!
Just in case you care, here are a few other things that give me that same feeling.
*When I finish a REALLY good book series
*When I sweep a dirty porch/clean a shower and can see the results
*When I clock off after a hard night at work
*When I finish a class and see the A I worked so hard for
*When a cute boy hugs me after a fun date
*When I cry at the end of a really good movie
*When I finish the ink in a pen ALL BY MYSELF
*When I was standing up on the stage singing "Carry On" at
my final choir concert
What things make you feel this way?

School starts on Thursday. I have all my books and things ready, but I just can't seem to get into school mode. I'm sure it will hit me (pretty hard) once I'm actually in class though. School is scary. Wish me luck.
To all my fellow students out there...have fun at school.
Be awesome like you know you are!

Life.

Life comes at you fast. But it's a good kind of fast!
Doesn't it seem like summer has flown by? That's because it has.
It always does.
You fill your summer with so many fun things, and before you know it school is beginning!
This is the time to make those memories that will last forever.
Here are a few things/people I never want to forget.

1-Jenny
Seriously, I love this girl! She is so fun to be around!
Her birthday was this past month and to celebrate we all went bowling.
For the record, I hadn't been bowling since I was in achievement day in primary!
It was fun to hang out with friends and be crazy.
Thanks for the great times Jenny, and happy birthday again!
2-Our first annual Christmas in July Party
This was such a fun time! We turned the air down,
made all our favorite (stomach ache) holiday food,
and had a white elephant gift exchange.
Don't judge. This picture makes me think of a quote...
"Elder Neal A. Maxwell once said, "We are here in mortality, and the only
way to go is through; there isn't any around!" I would add, the only way
to get through life is to laugh your way through it. You either have to
laugh or cry. I prefer to laugh. Crying gives me a headache."
— Marjorie Pay Hinckley
I love my family!
3-Andrew
This boy had a birthday on the first of this month.
To celebrate we went to a few of our favorite places in Mesa.
I had such a good time! He is a great friend!
In my opinion, people should have birthday's more often!!
4-Alyce Joy and Becky
Sometimes I go out on fun adventures with Sis. Huber and Sis. Lisonbee.
These are always good times!
We went to Nielson's and my mom came along.
It was amazing...as usual!

5-The little crew
Below is a picture of the sad and lonely children who still live at home
(minus Linda)
We always have such fun times together!
This week we went and saw Toy Story 3. Good movie, fun time.
I wouldn't trade my adventures with these guys for anything!!
Enjoy your summer everyone.
Live it up...and don't forget to laugh! :)
